Putting numbers to what we see
A lab test turns what is just a suspicion in the exam room into data: how the kidneys, liver, immune system, or blood sugar are doing, and if anything doesn't add up.
We perform biochemistry and blood counts, as well as rapid disease tests when an immediate answer is needed.
We also perform more specific tests depending on what we're looking for: hormone levels, cytology, biopsies, scrapings, or urinalysis.
